Madagascan Dragon Tree - 15 year old specimens.
Dracaena marginata

A true living sculpture, this 15-year-old Dracaena marginata brings striking form and quiet drama to any interior. With gnarled, time-shaped stems and sprays of fine, arching foliage, each plant has been slowly grown into a unique, sculptural presence. Every plant is individually selected and photographed – what you see is exactly what you’ll receive.

These mature specimens have a distinctly architectural feel, making them ideal for curated interiors where form and texture matter. The twisted, characterful trunks tell the story of age and patience, while the narrow, upright leaves add movement, height, and texture without overwhelming a room.

Care Advice
Dracaena marginata thrives in bright, indirect light but is also well-suited to lower light areas, making it a flexible choice for a variety of indoor settings. Water when the top few centimetres of soil feel dry – usually every 7–10 days in warmer months, and less frequently in cooler weather. When watering, soak the soil thoroughly and allow excess to drain. Avoid leaving the pot sitting in water, as this species is sensitive to overwatering and prone to root rot.

These mature plants in 300mm pots retain moisture moderately, so check soil moisture regularly, especially in warm or dry conditions. Dracaenas are also sensitive to fluoride and salts in tap water – if leaf tips begin to brown, consider using filtered or rainwater.

Keep away from direct hot sun, cold drafts, and heating vents. Rotate the plant every few weeks for even growth, and wipe the leaves occasionally to remove dust and support healthy photosynthesis.

A slow-growing, low-maintenance plant with sculptural impact – full of personality, presence, and quiet resilience.
