Limestone is heavy, so choose its spot before you settle it in, as it is not easy to move once planted up. Take care when lifting, and consider a mat or pad underneath to protect your floor.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003eFrom spring to autumn, when the trees are actively growing, water thoroughly and allow the top 5 cm of soil to dry out before watering again. Although they come from wet habitats, money trees store water in their trunks and do best when the soil is allowed to dry a little between drinks. In the cooler months, growth slows, so pull back watering and let the soil dry out more between waterings. Never let the soil sit wet, as overwatering is the most common cause of root rot.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003eMoney trees like humidity and stable conditions. Keep them away from cold drafts and air conditioning vents, and try not to move the vessel around, as sudden changes can cause leaf drop.
