Bottle Tree (Brachychiton rupestris) in Terracotta UFO Pot
Bottle Tree
Brachychiton rupestris
Height: 1.9m / Ø: 65cm
Single Australian native approximately ten years old, with an exposed caudex and elongated trunk, rising to a lightly branched, elevated canopy.
Set in a low-profile terracotta UFO pot, finished with fossilised stone and gravel at the surface. The broad, shallow form draws attention to the base of the tree and its sculptural root structure.
Care
Bright light. Allow the potting mix to largely dry out between waterings, typically 7–14 days depending on season and temperature. When watering, thoroughly wet the entire root ball.
Leaf drop during cooler months is normal.
No saucer. When used indoors, water outdoors or in a sink and allow the pot to drain freely before returning to position.
