About The Euphorbia trigona or African milk tree originates in central Africa. It is a forgiving if somewhat spiky houseplant perfect for the low maintenance loving plant lover. Bring a bit of high noon to your space with this wonderful succulent. This is the green variety with green speckled stems.

Care Easy

Light Full sun to bright indirect light. Think north or west facing windows that receive bright sunlight.

Water Drench once a fortnight to a month in summer and pull back to about 3 times over winter. I said easy care. Drainage is important and make sure its not sitting in water or the roots can rot!

Humidity If you are using air conditioning or heating in your space misting the plant once or twice a week to supplement humidity is recommended. Otherwise natural levels of Sydney humidity should be fine.

Food Water soluble fertilizer once a week in spring summer is recommended and adding granular fertilizer once every 14 months will keep your plant well fed and healthy. Use a cactus/succulent specific fertilizer for best results.
