About: High gloss leaves. Dark green and subtle accents of burgundy.  A really sophisticated, easy care, classic indoor plant. You can’t go wrong.

Care: Easy.

Light: Low to bright indirect.

Water: Water once a week until water is flowing from drainage holes. Drain excess water to make sure plant is not sitting in a tray of water.

Humidity: If your space has dry air due to constant heating or air-conditioning, a refreshing mist between waterings will make the plant happier. However, Sydney levels of humidity treat this plant well. Wiping the leaves of dust occasionally with a cloth and water is a good way to aid in photosynthesis. Using a neem oil dilution in this process will protect the plant from bugs and increase leaf shine.

Food:  To keep plants at their best the potting mix needs to be replenished with nutrients. A good water-soluble houseplant fertiliser in your watering can once a month in the spring and summertime should be enough.
