Bottle Tree (Brachychiton rupestris) and Deuterocohnia brevifolia in Navette-Form Concrete Planter

Sale price$600.00

Vessel: Vintage boat-shaped (navette-form) concrete planter with aged patina and natural mineral surface
Dimensions: Total planted height: 1300 mm | Pot: 210 mm (H) × 600 mm (L) × 240 mm (W)
Finish: Exposed root form, gravel top dressing, paired with Deuterocohnia brevifolia mound
Description: A sculptural Brachychiton rupestris planted to reveal its distinctive root structure. The tree is paired with a Deuterocohnia brevifolia mound — a dense, textural form that contrasts with the Bottle Tree’s vertical line. The vintage navette-form concrete vessel presents a tapering, boat-like silhouette with a weathered patina, highlighting balance and asymmetry within a restrained composition.
Care: Bright light. Water when soil is partially dry. Suitable for indoor or sheltered outdoor placement.
Provenance: Vessel sourced through circular design channels, chosen for authenticity and age. Surface wear and imperfections are inherent to its history. Both plants are grown by regional NSW nurseries. We work directly with family-owned growers to support local horticulture.
Notes: Each piece is unique. Variations in patina, texture, and plant form are expected and intentional.
