Bottle Tree Forest (Brachychiton rupestris) in Aged Copper Planter with Stand
Vessel: Vintage copper planter with worn tin lining, revealing a natural silvery patina; set on a black steel stand
Dimensions: Total planted height: 2400 mm | Pot (including stand): 510 mm (H) × 500 mm (D)
Finish: Exposed root base, fine gravel top dressing with river stone accent
Description: Three Brachychiton rupestris form a slender forest rising from a vintage copper vessel whose inner tin lining has worn through, creating a silvery surface with traces of copper beneath. The composition balances warmth and coolness — organic roots meeting aged metal — and the smooth river stone adds quiet grounding.
Care: Bright light. Water when soil is partially dry. Suitable for indoor or sheltered outdoor placement.
Provenance: The vessel is a repurposed copper pot with exposed tin lining, sourced through circular design channels for its history and patina. Bottle Trees are grown by a regional NSW nursery north of Sydney; we work directly with family-owned growers.
Notes: Each piece is unique. Variations in form, patina, and tone are expected and intentional.
